The Alien Grammar Show is the story of an Alien who is on Earth for a very limited period of time, looking for her children Blip and Blop. She is being chased however by two intergalactic agents (Men in Black) who want to catch her and kill her. Both the alien and the agents need help from the audience and so this fast-paced and very funny story is also extremely interactive. The teaching element of the show is introduced when we discover that aliens have trouble making questions in English. There is a period of testing to discover who isn't and who may be an alien, if anybody can make good question then they clearly are not an alien.

#TASK 1 - DRAW THE ALIEN

1. In pairs each students has to draw an Alien on a piece of paper, without showing their partner the picture.

2. The partner then asks questions about the picture and tries to draw the other Alien.

Possible questions:

a) How many legs does the alien have?
b) How many arms does the alien have?
c) How many heads does the alien have?
d) what colour is the alien?
e) Is the alien big or small?
f) Is the alien fat or slim?

You may use comparatives: my alien is bigger; your alien has got smaller eyes

#TASK 2 - TEST THAT ALIEN (exercises 2,3 and 4)
